Ready, Set, Finish: Your Final PhD Year
Moving from open-ended research to focused writing makes the final PhD year one of the most challenging phases of the doctoral journey.
Participants learn how to give their thesis the priority it needs alongside all their other obligations to finish with confidence.
Through guided reflection, small-group exchange and practical planning exercises, participants turn insight into a realistic roadmap for completing their thesis.
Participants leave with a clearer view of what has been slowing them down, enhanced motivation, and a concrete plan for completing their thesis that feels realistic and achievable.
- Understanding the final year shift: from open-ended research to focused writing and completion
- Identifying personal patterns, blockers and competing priorities
- Navigating uncertainty by focusing on what lies within one’s own influence
- Creating a realistic roadmap to completion with Plan A, B and C
